Description
The Rope & Ratchet Set is used to anchor the Bonga Stretch Tent Canopy in place in combination with the Peg Set.
The combination of ratchets with nautical ropes provide a stronger and more durable anchor for your stretch tent, compared with the traditional Strap & Buckle Set. It also requires less space.

Each set includes:
Corner ropes & ratchets (two ropes of five meters with one knot and a ratchet).

Side ropes & ratchets (a five-meter rope with three knots (two on the ends, one in the middle), a five meter rope with a knot on one end, a ratchet on the other end, a three meter rope with a knot on one end, a ratchet on the other end.

The Rope
The rope is made of double braided high tenacity polyester, a rope characterised by its strength, durability, chemical resistance and UV resistance. Yet it is very smooth and thus easy to handle. The rope also holds up perfectly in extremely hot or wet weather. The rope has a melting point of 265 °C and can withstand short heat up to 170 °C.

The Ratchet
The ratchet consists of a casing of glass-filled nylon and a mechanism made of die-cast zinc, which, together with the maximum working load of no less than 113 kg, ensures that the ratchet can withstand high tensile forces and can also be used, for example, to secure loads. The ratchet also provides very high ease of use, as you only have to pull on one end of the rope to tighten it.
